BRAINPOWER

For about ten years now my main theme has been the model of human behaviour under extreme conditions such as fear, violence, pressure or death. In this I am especially provoked by the artistic conflict of those neurological and cognitive processes taking place in man that it is difficult to record purely scientifically.

Here, at the interface of biological determination and human awareness, I want to provoke a new perception of these processes through my art. Whether through the abstracted figurative speech of what is biological (up to metaphysical symbolism), or through the form of the crystallisation of the new semantics of the spoken word (new speech/sayings as the expression of human awareness). And often far over and above the framework of both groups of themes at once – both in their coherence and in their antagonism.
